Founded in 1984, Caribbean Scientific is a family-owned company dedicated to the distribution of laboratory and process equipment, instrumentation, and supplies for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and educational sectors. With over three decades of industry expertise, we have built a strong reputation for excellence in both product distribution and technical service.

Originally launched as Filtration Instrumentation Specialist, Inc. (FIS), our journey began with a single sales division focused on laboratory solutions. In 1993, we expanded our capabilities by establishing VCI, Inc., a sister company focused exclusively on equipment service. Recognizing the value of integrated support, the two entities merged in 2002 to form FIS-VCI, Inc., unifying our distribution and service divisions under one name.

Today, Caribbean Scientific is recognized for delivering a superior service experience. Our dedicated team of sales professionals and technical experts work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions across a broad portfolio of laboratory products and services.

Our Service Division is staffed by certified technicians trained to calibrate, validate, repair, and maintain a wide range of laboratory equipment, with a strong emphasis on refrigeration systems and particle counters—two of the most critical areas for pharmaceutical and cleanroom operations.
